Flower Essence Remedies for Emotional Health

This week Nature’s Sunshine released their newest product line: Flower Essence Remedies. These emotional remedies were created from carefully chosen flowers grown in certified organic gardens. These flower essence remedies were created to help combat basic emotional imbalances that so many people face.

As we face life’s problems on a daily basis, it’s easy to feel unnerved. Finding a natural, organic remedy to combat emotional distress provides a needed boost to live a happier life. These remedies have been a source of emotional support for centuries. Ancient history shows the Egyptians and Native Americans using flower essence therapy as an emotional health remedy.

In the 1930s, Dr. Edward Bach developed and studied over three dozen flower essences that acted as remedies for a variety of emotional states. With that science, Nature’s Sunshine’s Master Herbalist, Steven Horne, formulated seven flower essence remedies for emotional support. As Nature’s Sunshine uses only the finest ingredients, these flower essences are all-natural.

These flower essence remedies include:

Help for the Busy & the Bear

Whether you are busy or maybe your loved one is a bear, sometimes it is really hard to get adequate nutrients in our bodies! Everyone is busy and everyone has a bear in their life (someone who won't take care of themselves properly). We would like to recommend a product that can take up some of the slack in the undernourished bodies.

Super Trio makes proper nutrition simple and convenient. Offering the basic nutrients your body needs for optimal function, Super Trio comes in 60 easy-to-carry cello-packs. Taken twice a day, it provides a full month's supply of portable, powerful nutrition. Each pack contains one capsule each of Super Supplemental to support your daily vitamin and mineral needs, Super Omega-3 to satisfy your body's vital need for essential fatty acids, and Super ORAC, an exclusive formulation found only in Super Trio that is packed with potent free radical quenching antioxidants. Check out this short presentation Nature's Sunshine has put together on Super Trio.

With all the things that lobby for our time, its easy to be overwhelmed by all of the things we "should" be doing. Health doesn't have to be one of them. For most people, there is a time when healthy living is a priority and no argument from anyone will really push them into something before they are ready. For those people, Super Trio can be a shield of protection that won't nag or push, just feed and build up.

Lasting Changes

Here at The Herb Garden we've taken a hiatus from a few things, such as this blog, but we're back at it now and ready to take on the health of the world!! :)

One of the things that has been on our minds is healthy habits and why making lasting changes is so difficult.  In our experience, one of the biggest culprits is an 'All or Nothing' attitude.  During the holidays or some vicious reminder that you've got to make some changes in your life, vows of conviction and the strictest of intentions are uttered.  Changes WILL be made! Yet, not even 2 weeks later, you have slacked off, given in and have mostly forgotten what the big deal was about anyway.  Just another happy new year, right? What goes wrong year after year? Perhaps its simply a case of trying to do everything at once and thus going nothing at all.  Changes are hard and near impossible when you implement multiple ones at the same time.  If you'd like to run a marathon, need to lose 100 pounds  or just have a journey ahead that seems too big, then try thinking of it in steps.  Instead of trying to lose 100 pounds overnight, just try the 1 pound.  Maybe you don't drink enough water. Use all of that conviction to accomplish one tiny little task before you attack the mountain. Drink 8 glasses of water a day for a week. Maybe drink ONLY water for a week. Whatever your changes you need to make, start small and you'll be surprised at not only how good you feel about your accomplishment, but how easy it is to add one more goal afterwards.
Consider baby steps like these:
-Add raw fruits or veggies to every meal
-Walk Every Day
-Read Every Day
-Meditate/Pray 15 minutes every day
-Work on that project 15 minutes every day
-Cut out one bad habit food item (candy, white bread, packaged snacks)
-Eat dinner at home instead of going out
-Get 7-8 hours of sleep every night
All of these suggestions are things we need to be doing, but if you're not doing any of them and try to add them all at the same time, the average person will quit.  Unfortunately its partly our nature and our society that just doesn't emphasize discipline and self-control.  But that doesn't have to stop us! Try just one of these things or something you know you can handle this next week. You will be surprised how far you can go with baby steps!

Fall Beginnings

Shades of orange, crisp air and the warmth of home - Fall is here! Though January 1st is the most popular beginning, October 1st is an even better time to start something new or give that project a better try. You know things can only get busier no matter what stage of life you are in. Around here we have much to look forward to (like trips to Hawaii), prepare for (business goals), and do better than we ever have before(time management, holidays), but we all know the value of having help. When you feel part of something, a group of people, just having support can mean the difference between success and failure. Dreams and plans are so easy to give up on when no one is around to care. Part of our goals here at The Herb Garden is to cultivate a community of people who can support each other in their efforts to find abundant health. While health is our business, health is our goal in life as well. Being a part of a community who shares a common goal is something we are looking for personally as well as professionally. There is still so much that we have yet to learn and know that much education is waiting to be had in the lives of each of you. Your experiences and knowledge most likely touches areas we have never been. The Discussion Room page of our website is still new and hasn't been used much, but we hope that is about to change. We encourage you to leave a comment or question, maybe even start a new topic. We are so convinced that having regular discussions can be of so much benefit to us all that we are holding a contest for the month of October. For every entry you make in our discussion room, you will be entered into a drawing for free products at the end of the month!! There is no limit to the number of times your name can be entered so chat away!
Whatever your involvement with us this month, we hope you find abundant health all October long!

What The Future Looks Like

As the world changes in season, circumstances and intention, so must we to achieve something beyond mere survival. Though financially and politically our free world is in a bit of a tornado, we are not without some power when it comes to decisions for our family's health. In the past here at The Herb Garden we have shared with you numerous ways to improve your health. The benefits of healthy eating, active lifestyles, and supplements has finally reached the masses and what we have been saying for years is now the popular thing to do. What does that mean for you? That means it is time to for all of us to help our family, friends and neighbors. There is nothing standing in the way of mentioning what healthy alternatives have done for you. Not only are we convinced that herbal remedies and healthy lifestyles can benefit everyone, but Nature's Sunshine is, without a doubt, the leader in quality, selection and honest business practices in the supplement industry. Have your browsed their product line lately? They are turning into a Wal-Mart for supplements because they have something for EVERYTHING. In the days ahead, we hope to provide our readers with more opportunities to increase their knowledge and equip them with easy ways to make America healthy!
